Kim Boucher is a certified professional life and business coach. One of the many principles she learned there was, “Who you are… is always greater than who you think you are”. This experience ignited her curiosity, which brought her to the next step. In May of 2008, Kim became a certified professional life & business coach by completing all classes offered by CTI (Certified Professional Co-Active Coach Certification Program) in Boston. She also attended ORSC (Organization &. Relationship Systems Coaching) soon after her certification. “A degree in education motivates financial gain; an education in emotional intelligence motivates thriving relationships both personally and professionally”. As a relationship coach Kim Boucher coaches individuals, partners and teams into discovering core values that grow healthy relationships, self-discovery and ultimate fulfillment. With Sales experience of 40 years, Kim Boucher has been a trend setter who has broken performance goals within the direct selling industry. Off and running, Kim began her JAFRA Cosmetics career and attained a half million dollars in sales and promoted 5 managers in her first year. Embodying the spirit of the founders, Kim’s leadership, motivation, inspiration and commitment to consistently setting the bar higher, earned the JAFRA prestigious lifetime achievement award.

My Story

I remember how I felt in my younger years…I quite often felt anxious, afraid, and alone. I remember having to stay back in the third grade, and when I asked my parent why, the answer devastated me. “Because you’re immature and stupid.” Not a great way to start life huh? For many years to follow, my life was emotionally chaotic. As a young adult, I began making some poor decisions which I still feel the sharp pain of those today.

One example of my unfortunate choices impacted my relationship with men. For starters, my bio father left when I was an infant and was missing my entire life and my stepfather was both emotionally and physically abusive. When it came time for me to choose a husband, is when I ran into trouble. I married two men who were very wrong for me! Both marriages involved lying, cheating, psychological battering, and abandonment. Unfortunately, I chose the wrong men to father my two sons. They deserved so much better.

My Awakening

For years, I remember feeling very much like a victim. I resented and blamed the people that I felt were responsible for hurting me. Around age 33, I came to a breaking point, so I decided to try therapy. This is where I began to look at myself and at the generational dysfunction. What became obvious was WHO it was that forced me into two failed marriages…it was ME. This began my path to more therapy and eventually into the world of Life Coaching, first as a client and then as a coach. This has been the best experience of my life (so far!) Coaching school introduced me to something called “victim/responsible” which was eye-opening and the tool that allowed me to see what my blind spots were.
